  1. I read a review that said the livie and luca pio shoes creased in the middle very quickly and then the pink (I guess that was the color they purchased) started peeling off. Have you ever had trouble with this? I was either going to get our daughter a purple or gold pair this year. Our daughter is just now starting to wear size 5. I was also going to purchase a pair of livie and luca black buck boots now for the fall. Do the livi and luca brand shoes run pretty true to size? She has been wearing wee squeaks brand shoes up to now and actually just started wearing her pink camo tennis shoes in size 5 today. They should last her thru to next year with plenty of room. Thanks for your help!

  2. Hey! I haven’t had a problem with creasing…. We love Livies and I think its the highest quality, most comfortable kids shoe out there! I get asked a lot about sizing and it really varies… here is what I tell everyone!

First and foremost please refer to their size chart here for the most accurate measurements -> http://www.livieandluca.com/sizechart.html
    In general:
    – baby sizes run a little generous
    – Soles switch on many styles from toddler to youth at size 10. For 10+ the wavy soles and arc are pretty true to size and for 10+ the Honeycomb soles run a little big.
    – For toddler sizes 4-9, the honeycomb soles run a little big. The Arc soles are pretty true to size. The Turf and Trac soles are generally received as running a little small. Nothing like the past but a little under true to size.
    – Please use the photos on Livie and Luca’s website http://www.livieandluca.com/shop.html to determine what sole your shoe has. Make sure to look at youth vs toddler as the soles change on many at size 10.
    – If between sizes please refer to the size chart for that specific size or sole. Sometimes going from a 7 to an 8 is a 1/2 cm difference but then going from an 8 to a 9 is a 1cm difference. This will help you determine wiggle/growing room.
    – Most sizes due tend to run a little wide vs some dept store shoes.
    – Past seasons have ran different so please don’t judge sizing based on a pair that you have from a couple seasons ago.
